Something happened to my camera yesterday or today...those lines across the pictures should not be there. That's annoying. Regardless, the signs are there...

Alan and I took our bikes to Knox mountain - 20 minute bike through Kelowna north from our house. On our way, we encountered these rock collections. Shortly thereafter, we rode down a ledge that led into construction of mansions and condos. A falcon hovered at the edge of the forest where the mountain turned to gravel, and sat in a pine beetle devastated tree. It was 3 meters away.
Sunday
a distance of chairs is pretty indicative of the distance I sometimes feel from you.

and on sunday we went home

I sat outside at night
two cats, like kittens
scurried around, between me and the garbage
flirting with each other,
darting between houses
to return and flick their tails
just inches from my hand
large eyed pixies
running, chasing, courting
not unlike me and this city
town
not quite a city
between the garbage and the condos
can't say there are many people to know
I'm darting on my bike
on my legs
in my mind
Can't say I know too many people
who know me either
