Do you remember how to have fun?

Do you remember how to laugh and giggle and be silly with your friends? with yourself? with your spirit? In those moments, there is never any judgement, no embarrasment, no question of belonging or making an ass out of oneself. NO! It's just purity.
Allow yourself these moments and you will allow others to be vulnerable and have fun too! (Deny yourself and you deny everyone around you that honesty.) Have some fun and go play! (Do I seriously need to convince you?)

you know, this is a subject i wrestle with. sometimes i'm less confident than i should be about embarrassing myself when in reality it's just letting loose. we don't get to show all sides of ourselves to friends - they don't see us at work when we're poised and in control - sometimes they only know us as jokesters or good times people. there is always a side to people we don't necessarily get to see. i think we should always keep that in mind and take them for face value in the moment but know they're capable of depths unseen to us.

judgement and Fun often cannot be present in the same space.

I do need to be encouraged not to judge myself and have fun...thank you for doing that!!

for me, my favorite times are when work and fun lines blur, and work and play become one. that's 'the dream job'. I DO need to laugh some more though.
