A Dive and A Dip

The colours of my dreams can so rarely be explained; forgotten before I speak. Blues and browns, with a tinge of red last night. Pink and green, or dark dark blood like red (danger appears or I fear for my life). The hues blend and change, like a ship at sea, swaying gently sometimes and other times in the throes of a storm. Often more reflective of the emotions "spoken", than any comparable daylight reality, they also make a bigger impact on my wake state later. Last night I dreamt of belonging.

Tonight, I hope not to dream much at all.

um.
I may not have this exactly right, but it is when the senses are related to seeming unrelated perceptions.

For instance, some people associate, actually experience colour with numbers, they create a lexicon of colour/ numbers, with no real explanation except that they really see (for example only here) "red" when they think or see the number 1, "blue" for 2 etc.
some people experience pain in particular parts of their body associated with emotions.

I'll see if i can't find a website to pass along...I often think of a response to poetry or really good writing as synesthesic (sp?)

Like certain phrases can evoke the senses, in a real not imagined way...that kinda thing.
